Today’s hair post is quite simple, but a very valuable one, nonetheless. It’s pretty safe to say that “over styling” is the number one hair crime in my book and we should all know what to do when we’ve simply taken curling or flat ironing too far. Let’s say you’re styling your hair with the…

DIY Gnome Lawn Bowling Game. If you read my posts, I have a soft spot for gnomes after living in Germany, so when I saw this my first thought was: Look at that fluffy unicorn (well, gnomes)! He’s (gnomes) so fluffy, I’m gonna die! This is one of those crafts that looks great in photographs and is a good idea but I would NEVER EVER do it myself. Lots of people will love this craft and do it. But this is what it involves: you have to take 10 soda bottles, take the labels off (hard and time consuming), wash them, dry them, fill them with gravel, spray paint them, draw their features from a template, then paint them, glue the lids on, and seal them twice. I’m already out of breath! Too tired to bowl… and this is what will end up on many blogs as a great project for everyone to do. There should be warnings and how long will this take me like the food recipes. But still fluffy. Tutorial at Cratzine here. *Note: This craft has now been tagged featured in DIY. My point has sadly been proven.
